Anxiety

Anxiety is defined as nervousness, apprehension, and self-doubt that may or may not be associated with real-life stressors. Everyone experiences some level of anxiety periodically, but when feelings of dread and worry are unfocused, overwhelming, reoccurring, and not directly linked to stressful events, anxiety can leave a person severely impaired.  Anxiety can interrupt your sleep patterns, appetite, relationships, school, or work. When your level of anxiety reaches a level that it interferes with your day-to-day activities, seek out a physician or a trained mental health professional.
